Helena Paparizou (Atene, 1982) è una cantautrice greco-svedese di fama internazionale. Nata ad Atene da genitori greci emigrati in Svezia, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di 16 anni partecipando a programmi televisivi svedesi. Nel 2005 ha rappresentato la Grecia all'Eurovision Song Contest con il brano "My Number One", conquistando il secondo posto e lanciandosi sulla scena internazionale. Il suo stile musicale è un mix di pop, dance e influenze balcaniche, caratterizzato da una potente voce e performance energiche. Tra i suoi successi più noti figurano "Gioupi Gioupi", "Ase Me", "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)" e "The One I Love". Paparizou ha collaborato con artisti come Nikos Vertis, Sakis Rouvas e la band svedese Alcazar.
