Otis Ray Redding Jr. (1941-1967) è stato un cantante statunitense di soul, considerato uno dei più influenti artisti del genere. Nel 1962 firmò con la Stax Records, dove ottenne il successo con brani come "Respect" (cover di Aretha Franklin) e "Fa-Fa-Fa-Fa-Fine".
