I "Big Steel Shit" nascono a Taranto nel 2006 dalle idee di tre amici: Stefano D'Errico, Giovanni Lopriore e Marco Costante. Una serie di sfortunati eventi portano la band a numerosi cambi di line-up, soprattutto per quanto riguarda bassisti e batteristi, e finalmente nel 2010 i "Big Steel Shit" riescono ad acquisire una stabile formazione con l'ingresso nel gruppo di Alessandro Lippo e Davide Perrucci. Con questa formazione la band pubblica il suo primo LP, "Greavy", consistente di 8 tracce caratterizzate da un sound hard 'n heavy. Poco dopo Davdie Perrucci è stato sostituito da Fulvio Orlando, che ha aiutato i suoi nuovi compagni a raggiungere una nuova profonda maturità artistica che li ha portati a registrare un nuovo LP, chiamato "Shit Happens", anticipato da un Tour Europeo. Attualmente i "Big Steel Shit" intendono unire le energie dell'Alternative Metal ad atmosfere del Post-Grunge ed esprimono nei loro testi la rabbia per un mondo rassegnato ad un destino di miseria materiale e culturale...
